Team Performance Psychology

When talented rosters underperform, when training doesn't translate to match day, when disconnection is visible but nothing seems to fix it - the problem is deeper than tactics or fitness.

When Teams Reach Out

Training vs Match Day

The performance you see in training isn't showing up when it counts. The ability is there, but something shifts under match pressure.

Visible Disconnection

You can see it - players aren't connecting, communication breaks down, the team doesn't function as a unit when pressure hits.

Underperforming Talent

You have the players. You have the systems. But results don't match the talent on the roster.

These aren't tactical problems. They're about the conditions needed for teamwork to show up under pressure.

How I Work With Teams

This isn't motivational speaking or team bonding exercises. This is intensive work focused on creating the connection and culture that allows high performance to show up consistently.

The work requires honest conversations. It's challenging, but it's what creates real change.

Step One
Leadership Group First

I work with the leadership group through the full Elite Performance Pressure Signature process. If I can shift them - how they think, how they respond to pressure, how they show up - they're more likely to create impact on the rest of the team. Leadership sets the tone.

Step Two
Positional Groups

The team is split into positional groups for focused work. This creates the space for honest conversations within smaller units, building connection and understanding at a deeper level.

Step Three
Creating High-Performance Culture

The work empowers players to create a culture of high performance themselves. This isn't top-down - it's building the conditions where players take ownership and the team functions as a connected unit under pressure.

Step Four
Management Partnership

I strengthen the relationship between management and players, and advise management on what I'm seeing. This creates alignment and ensures the work extends beyond the sessions.

How We Work

Leadership group work: Conducted remotely when needed, in-person when possible. Full Pressure Signature assessment and intensive coaching.

Team and positional group work: In-person sessions. This work requires being present, reading the room, facilitating the difficult conversations that create change.

Timing: Engagement length depends on when you reach out during the season. Ideally, we begin in the early stages to build the foundation before pressure intensifies.

This Is Tough Work

Real change in team dynamics requires honest conversations that reveal what's actually happening beneath the surface. Not everyone is comfortable with that level of honesty. But if you're serious about creating the conditions for consistent high performance, this is what it takes.

Who This Is For

This work is for management teams and organizations who recognize that:

• The problem isn't tactics or fitness - it's deeper

• Creating consistent high performance requires addressing how the team functions under pressure

• Real change requires honest, sometimes difficult conversations

• You're willing to invest the time and resources to do this properly

If you're looking for quick fixes or surface-level interventions, this isn't the right fit. If you're serious about creating the conditions for sustainable high performance, let's talk.
