The Problem I Solve
You train brilliantly. You have the physical ability. You know what to do. But when pressure hits - when it actually matters - something interferes. You tighten up. You overthink. You can't access what you know you're capable of.
That's not a confidence problem. That's not a technical problem. That's an interference problem.
Here's what's actually happening: Your subconscious mind is creating protective patterns that disconnect you from your natural ability when pressure appears. The very act of trying to prevent failure creates the self-monitoring, the hesitation, the inability to just perform.
You have two versions that can show up under pressure. One is free, present, executing naturally. The other is tight, protective, stuck in your head. Most athletes have no conscious control over which version appears.
Traditional sports psychology teaches you mental skills to cope with being stuck - visualization, positive self-talk, breathing techniques. That's like teaching someone to swim while they're wearing a life jacket that's holding them underwater.
My work is different. I address why the interference exists in the first place and shift the subconscious patterns that create it. When the interference drops away, your natural ability flows freely when pressure appears.
How This Work Developed
I've been studying consciousness and the mind for 8+ years, long before I applied it to athletic performance. This isn't sports psychology with some consciousness concepts added on top - consciousness work IS the foundation.
What I discovered: the patterns that create interference under athletic pressure are the same protective mechanisms we develop throughout life. They're survival strategies that once served us but now limit our ability to perform freely when stakes are high.
Athletes spend years developing physical mastery. But they have no relationship with the subconscious patterns running their nervous system under pressure. They get frustrated because they know they're capable of more. They replay what went wrong. They carry that doubt into the next performance.
And without realizing it, they're reinforcing the exact patterns that create the interference they're trying to overcome.
My work interrupts that cycle. I help you build a conscious relationship with how your mind and body actually respond under pressure - so you can choose which version of yourself shows up when it matters most.

But here's what matters more than credentials: I work at the intersection of performance psychology, consciousness, and nervous system regulation. That's not a typical combination, and it's why this work produces different results than traditional sports psychology.
Who I Work With
Since 2017, I've worked with athletes across multiple sports - from those competing for Irish team selection to those already performing at professional and international level.
Irish International Rugby Players - Connacht and Irish Rugby
Golf - Elite Amateur & Professional
GAA Players - County and club level
Elite Tennis Players - Collegiate Division 1 and Irish National Team
Boxers - Elite Amateur Level
Olympic-Level Athletes - Including rowing & Athletics
Badminton & Table Tennis - Elite Amateur
What they all have in common: they understand that consistent elite performance requires understanding how the mind actually works under pressure. They're not looking for quick fixes or motivational speeches. They want to shift the patterns that create interference.
